How to save a million per year with T-DRILL Technology

Cut costs, improve efficiency, and save a million per year with T-DRILL technology. Is it possible? Or not? Dig in and find out yourself!

Shipbuilding solutions

Typical applications include main and auxiliary seawater systems, vent, drain and ballast systems, air handling and exhaust gas and fire suppression systems.

The use of T-DRILL Collaring Machines and Flanging Machines improves productivity in the construction of both vessels and off-shore platforms.

Marine engines heavy fuel oil supply units require filtration, heating and pressurizing systems of heavy fuel oil prior to injection into diesel engines. This equipment includes several branches located at the piping systems, these can be made more reliable and economical by using collaring machines.

Various components such as heat exchangers, water distillation/purification plants and HVAC systems installed during marine construction are also fabricated using the T-DRILL processes.

The tube branching related to these systems is made by T-DRILL pipe collaring (branching) machines. T-DRILL flanging machines form Van Stone style loose flange on one end of the pipe and can expand the other end of the pipe to provide a slip fit suitable for fillet welding. This results in a pipe spool that can be easily and quickly installed in a ship with virtually no issues about flange orientation.

T-DRILL Collaring and Flanging systems have become an industry standard recognized worldwide and accepted e.g. by:

  • Det Norske Veritas
  • Germanischer Lloyd
  • Lloyd’s Register of Shipping
  • Bureau Veritas
  • ASTM F2015-00
  • Russian Maritime Register of Shipping
  • Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
